Larry Kraus

I’m an award winning landscape photographer, and for the past several years, primarily based out of Middle Tennessee, although I travel widely to capture the beauty of our National Parks and Public Lands. The National Parks provide much of the impetus I use to capture what I hope are thought inspiring images. I hope you enjoy the site.

Skills

A Dedication to Lifelong Learning and Development

I began my journey learning from the teachings of master photographers like Ansel Adams and Ed Weston. After college, I experimented with many of their techniques, and mastered the art of black and white photography and printing.

Today, with the technology of the digital negative and darkroom, creative photography has become my passion. I can now control every step in the creative process from concept to the final product.

My Mission

A Passion For Every Step In The Creative Process

Photographing in some of the harshest and most difficult places throughout the United States requires a commitment and determination to challenge myself physically and mentally. Hiking for miles, loaded down with photographic gear reinforces my desire to just ‘Get The Shot’
